黎族钻木取火技艺——海南黎族人民根据摩擦生热原理，以木头钻木头来取火的古老技艺，主要流传于海南岛中南部黎族聚居地区。由于比较古老，该技艺目前在全国范围内也极为罕见，对社会史的研究有着非常重要的意义。

该项目的省级代表性传承人为海南省保亭黎族苗族自治县人王照良，2011年，央视十套《探索与发现》栏目《黎族钻木取火》专题片中记录了他钻木取火技艺的全过程。

The primitive technique of starting fire by wood friction is preserved by Li people in the central and southern parts of Hainan. As an almost extinct cultural heritage in China, this technique has considerable significance for the study of social history.

Wang Zhaoliang is the provincial-level representative inheritor of this technique from BaoTing Li and Miao Autonomous County. In 2011, his performance of this skill was recorded in a feature documentary by CCTV.
