崖州民歌——使用客语方言演唱的一种汉语民谣，流行于海南古崖州一带并传唱至今，主要流传于海南三亚、乐东等地。由于古崖州辖区主要在今三亚、乐东等地区，故以在这些地方流传的较古老的汉族民歌称为崖州民歌。

崖州民歌格律异常严谨且自成一体，歌词多为七言，从人文历史、风光景色到生产劳动、社会生活各个领域无不涉及。演唱的场合不限，田间地头、屋前院后都能尽情放歌。

Popular in Sanya and Ledong, Yazhou folk song is an age – old Chinese ballad intonated in Hakka dialect. It is so named because Sanya and Ledong fell into the jurisdiction of Yazhou in ancient times. 

The folk song is highly rhymed, with typically seven words in a line. The lyrics could be anything about any aspect of life and allow open vocal expression in the field or at home.
